Duralay Kensington Deluxe Carpet Crumb Rubber Felt Underlay Description

The first in our range of crumb rubber felts; the Duralay Kensington Deluxe is a luxurious and durable carpet protecting, carpet underlay. Ideal for laying under Axminster-style carpets, Deluxe is made for heavy domestic use, to be laid in areas of high-traffic such as the hall, stairs or landing.

Kensington is an 11mm thick combination underlay, and its felt top gives fantastic underfoot comfort. The crumb rubber base gives a durability and high work of compression of 121J/m2. At 1.7 Tog it gives good warmth underfoot in addition to providing sound suppression up to 30dB.

Suitability: Designed for luxury stretch-fit and double-stick carpet installations where the carpet is going to be under heavy duress.
Application: Lay felt side down, crumb rubber side up. Cut to room shape. Tape the seams together using underlay tape.
